One of the Centre’s key projects is Communities 2.0, the Welsh Assembly Government’s digital inclusion initiative, which the Centre delivers in partnership with four other organisations. Communities 2.0 works with community groups and social enterprises to help them do more with digital technology.
The Centre requires the services of an organisation primarily to develop a website for Communities 2.0. In order to achieve best value and sustainability, elements of the functionality delivered will also be re-used for other aspects of the Centre’s work and delivered under this contract.
The Contract and Service provision is expected to commence in July 2010 and continue until December 2013, subject to continued EU and Welsh Assembly Government funding, and with any extension period being approved by the Centre.
